These terms govern your access to and use of Citeya. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Citeya.
Citeya is an AI-assisted content generation platform that researches sources, drafts source-backed articles, and produces SEO metadata and images from a brief you provide. We offer a free plan with limited generations and a paid Pro plan with higher limits and additional tools (AI detection, humanizer).
You agree not to use Citeya to:
You own the drafts, titles, and metadata Citeya generates for you, subject to the rights of any underlying third-party material (e.g. quoted sources or reference images you upload). Citeya cites sources automatically, but you are responsible for reviewing and verifying factual claims before publishing — citations reduce the risk of hallucinated facts, but they do not guarantee accuracy.
The Citeya name, logo, product design, and underlying software are owned by KPThink and protected by intellectual property law. Nothing in these terms transfers ownership of the platform itself to you — only the specific content you generate through it.
Citeya is provided "as is." AI-generated content may contain errors, and source availability can vary by topic. We don't guarantee that generated content will rank in search engines, avoid AI-detection tools, or be free of factual errors. You are solely responsible for how you use and publish generated content.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Citeya and KPThink are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service, including claims related to published content. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You may stop using Citeya and delete your account at any time from the Account page. We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these terms, non-payment, or suspected abuse, with notice where reasonably possible.
We aim to keep Citeya available at all times but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify, add, or remove features, adjust generation limits, or perform maintenance that temporarily affects availability. We'll try to give advance notice of changes that materially reduce functionality you're paying for.
If you cancel or your account is terminated, you can export your generated drafts and metadata from the Articles page while your access remains active (through the end of your current billing period for Pro accounts, or immediately for free accounts you delete yourself). After that window, content may be permanently deleted per our data retention practices described in the Privacy Policy.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer-protection rights you have under the law of your country of residence.
We may update these terms as Citeya evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
